Last year Halilovic was one of two students from Curtin University in Perth to win a D&AD New Blood Pencil.

As part of the UK Cannes Young Lions competition, Halilovic who is currently at J. Walter Thompson, London, was tasked with completing a creative brief by this year’s charity partner, Safe Passage with her team mate Rebecca Petts Davies. The pair had 24 hours to respond to the brief.

Talking about the creative, Halilovic says: “The underground seemed like the perfect location to bring this message to life, it’s cramped, it smells, everyone’s miserable and you’re shut out from the world above. Then combine that with the fact that the print is nearly life-size and literally everywhere in the cabin, and you get an experience rather than just a print ad.”
