Nine Perth’s popular community engagement returned to the 2022 Royal Show

Showgoers have been flocking to Nine’s “Broadcast Hill” at Claremont Showgrounds, which has returned as one of the key drawcards at this year’s Perth Royal Show.

With its focus on community and family engagement, the Nine zone which is situated at the western side of the main area, features unique interactive activities, displays, free kids workshops as well as daily prizes and giveaways.

The most popular attraction is the on-site 9News studio, where families can sit behind the news desk to experience reading the news and try their hand at presenting the weather.

Each weekday afternoon, guests can also watch Monika Kos present 9News WA First’s one-hour live bulletin from the zone, with Scherri-Lee Biggs roaming around the showgrounds presenting live weather during both 5.00pm and 6.00pm bulletins.

Channel 9’s The Garden Gurus have also installed magnificent sculptures as well as garden beds with seasonal blooms throughout the precinct.

Nine Perth will be at Broadcast Hill for the duration of the Perth Royal Show, open free daily from 10am to 6pm.
