Narelda Jacobs celebrates twenty years on 10

10’s Narelda Jacobs is celebrating twenty years with the network this month.

Jacobs commenced at Channel 10 Perth on May 2, 2000 as a journalist and moved into the role of presenter in August 2008.

Along with Tim Gossage and Michael Schultz, Jacobs was part of one of television’s longest serving news, sport and weather trios, notching up more than a decade together.

In January this year, she farewelled Perth and moved to the east coast to take up a position as co-host on Studio 10. Jacobs is also is also currently presenting the Perth weekend news bulletins.

“I’ve felt the love from colleagues and the community throughout my twenty years at 10,” said Jacobs. “Both in Perth and Sydney, I’ve worked with people who are leaders in their field and volunteered for charities changing lives. Presenting Perth news for 19 years was an absolute privilege.

“Now on Studio 10, I’m honoured to work with another talented and dedicated team. I have immense respect for my co-hosts who have welcomed me with open arms and I love our robust and often fiery conversations.

“Australians deserve thought provoking and heartfelt discussions and that’s what we serve up on Studio 10 along with a healthy side of fun and laughter.”
