Media Owners claim victory in both matches at third UnLtd: Big Clash Perth

Both Men’s and Women’s Media Owners teams have taken home the trophies at the third UnLtd: Big Clash cricket event in Perth. The event, organised by UnLtd, our industry’s social purpose organisation, saw over 100 people across the Perth advertising industry gather at Leederville oval to bat and bowl for good.

Kindly sponsored by JCDecaux, MiQ and Seven West Media, the 2023 event raised over $30,000 for UnLtd’s work supporting charities helping young people at risk.

Damien Bodestyne, Sales Director WA at JCDecaux said: “We’re proud to support the UnLtd Big Clash – it’s such a fantastic way to get together with the industry whilst raising funds for such an important cause. The level of cricket was brilliant, competition fierce and it was great to connect with so many people across the Perth market.”

The first game was the women’s game where the Media Owners Team, captained by Alycia Diggle from JCDecaux, took home the trophy. The Media Owners continued their winning performance in the Men’s game where Trent McKeown led the team to victory. The players of the day were Tiana Johnston from Val Morgan and Jakob Troy-Johnston from Longreach thanks to their overall excellence on the field.

Tiffany Damm, Commercial Director of UnLtd commented: “Big thank you to everyone who joined us to bat and bowl for good in Perth! It was brilliant to see so many people across the industry come along and help us raise over $30K! The money will make a big difference for the work UnLtd does supporting charities helping young people at risk and we are so grateful for everyone who supported us.”

The next UnLtd Perth event is the UnLtd: Open golf tournament at the end of June, to get involved, please contact events@unltd.org.au
