Marnie McKeown announced as Community News Group & Regional Advertising Director; Liz Molyneux promoted to Director Print Advertising at Seven West Media
Seven West Media (WA) has announced the appointment of Marnie McKeown as Community News Group (CNG) & Regional Advertising Director, and promotion of Liz Molyneux to Director Print Advertising reporting to Nathan Cave, Chief Advertising Officer SWM (WA).
McKeown (pictured right) has most recently worked at Carat as the Head of Content Services & Media Integration. She has also held senior roles at Fairfax, agencies and previously worked at The West Australian newspaper.
Prior to joining SWM (WA), Molyneux (left) most recently held senior roles at Fairfax and News Limited and has been with SWM for three very busy months.
“Both Marnie and Liz have been huge contributors to the media industry over many years and we are excited to see them both join the team,” said Cave. “They both have extensive knowledge and leadership experience and will be fantastic assets for SWM (WA) and our advertisers.”
McKeown said “I’m very excited to be leading the advertising team for the CNG and Regional Newspapers. I look forward to getting to know and working with our community and regional advertisers.”
Molyneux said “I am delighted to be leading our Metro Print Advertising team. I’m passionate about newspapers and The West Australian and Sunday Times brands are two of the most successful in the country. I’m looking forward to working with the talented and committed team at SWM (WA) to bring even more success to our advertisers and partners.”
The appointments further strengthen SWM (WA)’s advertising team, as they work alongside Brent Stewart (Digital Director).
Cave said with the upcoming cricket and retail seasons in planning mode, the cross platform opportunities across broadcast, print and digital have never been stronger.
