Marcus Tesoriero to depart The Brand Agency; Dean Hunt and Dan Agostino to lead creative team

The Brand Agency announced today that ECD Marcus Tesoriero is leaving the agency.

 

In his two plus years’ as Executive Creative Director, Tesoriero (pictured right) has helped the agency win a string of major, international awards including a Silver and two Bronze Lions at Cannes, a D&AD Yellow Pencil, three Gold Lotus at Adfest plus recognition at The One Show, Clio, Spikes Asia, LIA, NY Festivals and AWARD along with Gold effectiveness awards at WARC and the Effies.

Tesoriero is heading back to Sydney, with his new role to be announced soon.

Dean Hunt (above left) will continue as The Brand Agency’s Creative Director, and will work alongside Head of Design, Dan Agostino (below) to lead the 20 strong creative team.

Hunt has been with The Brand Agency since July 2018. He came to Perth in 2016, initially as Creative Director at J Walter Thompson before joining 303 MullenLowe at the end of that year.

Prior to moving west, Hunt was founding creative director of VCCP Sydney, famous for introducing comparethemarket.com.au to Australia. He has more than 20 years’ experience working at major international and Australian agencies including Mojo, The Campaign Palace, JWT, TBWA and BMF. His work has won multiple awards at the Sirens, D&AD, Cannes and ADMA.

Agostino has been with the agency for more than a decade, and steadily built its Design department into one of the most successful and highly-credentialled in WA.
