Good Times: A Rare Christmas celebration

Rare sends off 2020 with Swan Valley celebrations.

Last Friday, Rare set sail for the Swan Valley for their annual weekend-long staff Christmas party. It began with a cruise down the Swan River on a river barge, followed by a pool party at a private property in the Perth Hills with an endless supply of woodfired pizzas, before the group retired to their accommodation for the weekend, The Colony at Mandoon Estate.

Saturday consisted of lunch and wine tasting at Upper Reach Winery, then a relaxing afternoon before the weekend’s main event – the Gala Night. This year, it was a long table dinner under the stars on The Llawn at Mandoon Estate, along with a live band and lots of singing, dancing and drinks. Everyone emerged bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for breakfast on Sunday morning before heading back to town.
