G’Day Group teams with PEPR Agency with duties on Rottnest Island, El Questro & Kings Canyon

G’Day Group has appointed PEPR Agency to manage the PR for three of its premium properties: El Questro, Kings Canyon Resort and Discovery – Rottnest Island, to further increase brand awareness amongst Australian travellers.

PEPR Agency’s remit includes securing earned editorial, establishing targeted partnerships and building stakeholder relations.

The G’Day Group is growing exponentially, with the opening of Discovery – Rottnest Island in 2019, the rebranding of G’Day Parks in Nov 2020 and several property acquisitions including El Questro and Kings Canyon Resort over the last few years.

Nestled behind the dunes of the island’s iconic Pinky Beach, Discovery – Rottnest Island is the first low impact luxury glamping experience on Rottnest Island. This benchmark Western Australian eco-tourism experience values enrichment and connection for families and minimal impact on the environment.

Amid the sprawling and ancient landscapes of Western Australia’s East Kimberley region, surrounded by thermal springs, salt flats and deep gorges sits the untamed natural beauty of El Questro. It is the ultimate Kimberley accommodation experience, whether you choose a luxurious stay, a room by the river, or a tented cabin nestled in the wilderness.

Offering hotel rooms, lodge accommodation and camp sites, Kings Canon Resort is a traveller’s oasis in the middle of ancient, rugged landscapes halfway between Alice Springs and Uluru. Soaring 270 metres above sea level, areas of the canyon plummet to an oasis of natural rock pools and native flora and fauna.

“PEPR have well-earned reputation as one of the best lifestyle and tourism PR agencies in Australia. We’re thrilled to be working with Philip and the team to build the reputation of our experiential tourism properties, especially during such an exciting period of growth” said Jessica Playford, Communications Manager for G’Day Group.

PEPR Agency’s director, Philip Engelberts (pictured), said: “We are delighted to be working with G’Day Group as the group’s communications partner of choice in Australia. We look forward to sharing the brand’s stories and updates from the three properties. With G’Day Group’s exponential growth to date, there will be an abundance of travel stories to tell.”

PEPR’s Philip Engelberts and Chloe Curtis will manage the account, with the support of Polly Snell.
