Firefly360 launches digital marketing relief packages for businesses affected by Covid-19

Perth-based Creative and Digital Agency Firefly360 has announced a radical relief package designed to assist small and large businesses who are struggling to adapt to the implications of the new digital economy in light of Covid-19.

Managing Director Andrew Mathwin said it feels like Covid-19 has changed everything in an instant.

“Unfortunately, the one universal in this crisis is the way businesses operate has had to change, almost overnight. From how they manage their supply chain to the strain on how they operate digitally, it’s not ideal,” he said.

“We’re in the agency business for one reason. That’s to help our clients in any way we can – and the best way we can do this is right now is by providing free counsel around digital strategies and platforms, longer term plans for recovery and creative support to get their message out.”

The relief package will be available to three businesses that can prove Covid-19 has had a significant impact on turnover and needs to transform their business online. As part of the $5,000 package each, it includes:
• Creation of a digital “pivot strategy” to respond to short term pressures and focus on strategies for when it’s business as usual again
• Access to a choice of strategists, designers, content producers and media specialists for 1 hour per week via a Zoom video conference
• Waiving of creative fees for idea generation, design, animation and social posts (10 hours per month)
• Access to support materials such as templates for emails, social posts and other tech solutions

“Whilst there is still uncertainty about how and when the virus will be contained, what we do know for sure is that the crisis will pass. We believe, and history supports this, that agile and competitively-minded brands that get it right in the tough times, can capture competitive share and be best-placed to capitalise on the eventual rebound and beyond. This is fundamentally why we are doing this.”

Mathwin is urging other agencies (big and small) to take the “Covid-19 pledge” and do the same by waiving fees and providing free packages for companies that really need it.
