Word Of Mouth Agency is a local team of diverse individuals from all walks and stages of life. “Our passion for creativity and fun has connected us, and together we use our respective skills and ideas to positively impact and visually inspire those around us through creative thinking and mindful strategies.”
Co-Directors Adam Perich and Ryan Khong met in high school, went to university together, and started their careers together at the same workplace. With a background in marketing and website development, they realised that there was a gap in the market that wasn’t being serviced locally.
In April 2016, they opened Word Of Mouth Agency and come 2019, they moved into their Applecross office location. From there rapid growth and expansion resulted in the team increasing from 2 to 8 people, adding services such as graphic design, social media management, website design, paid advertising, and so much more.
The agency recently rebranded and the new Word Of Mouth Agency logo represents the core of communication. The agency uses different ways to communicate messages between clients and their customers from social media and websites, to branding and media releases, and behind each of these outlets, there is always a person: a face. This symbolises that people are involved at every step of the way, from the start to finish, and beyond.
The Word Of Mouth Agency rebrand launch party was held on Thursday 19th January 2023 at the iconic Raffles Hotel. The party was a huge success, celebrated with clients past and present, friends, and family, and industry partners, who were the first people to see their new identity.
Drinks were flowing all night, with nibbles available throughout but the star of the night was the candy bar. Decked out with all-blue candy, custom-made sugar cookies, cake pops, and cupcakes – it was a big kid’s dream.
After a speech from Khong and Perich, the brand reveal video was played.
Perich said: “I was blown away from the positive feedback & turnout from our clients on the rebrand launch party. We really wanted to show everyone that the rebrand wasn’t just about the directors but about the people behind the brand, our amazing team! We are real people that love what we do. The team is really excited to see what the year of 2023 brings.”
