Deadline extended (to Monday) for entries in THE SEVEN WEST MEDIA ‘BEST IN THE WEST’ NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING CREATIVE COMPETITION

CBWA has been called away on Friday and wont be in the office (even virtually) to answer the inevitable last-minute queries, so we’re extending the deadline for entries to 4.00pm Monday, July 27.

That gives you a couple of extra days – albeit a weekend – to finish off your entries and make sure they’re in winning shape for a shot at the $65,000 worth pf press media on offer, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Seven West Media WA.

When our former ‘Caxton Creative Exercise’ ran from 2004 to 2012, it produced some of WA’s best ever press ads and was won by some of WA’s top creatives including Julia Elton-Bott (4 times!), Andrew Tinning, Murray Laird, Guy Howlett, Tom Wilson, Malcolm MacLean, Ross Dungey, Paul Coghlan, Drew Ridley and Neil Martin.

The objective is to come up with a great ad that (hopefully) wins awards for you and your agency and gives your clients’ businesses a boost just when they need it most.

SWM will run the winning ad as a full page in The West Australian, The Sunday Times, Community Newspapers and West Regionals.* All up that’s $65,000 worth of state-wide coverage that will be seen by over 400,000 print readers.
