Block leads the WA pack at AGDA Awards 2021

Whilst the WA creative community was focussed on the PADC Skulls on Friday evening, the Australia Graphic Design Association announced the winners of their 2021 show via an online ceremony. The AGDA Awards recognise the best work from Australian and New Zealand across a range of visual communications disciplines.

 

Block lead the WA haul, picking up three Distinctions, three Merits, two Finalists and a Judge’s Choice in their best performance at the awards yet.

Block’s Creative Lead, Joseph Dennis’ typography practice SWIM was awarded an additional two finalists for his work for the short documentary film ‘Rok’. And the newest member of the Block creative team, Reilly Nylund was a Finalist in the student awards.

Overall it was a stellar year for WA with over 25 projects from the state being recognised.
