Anthologie launches follow up ‘Little Ripples’ campaign celebrating the life-long impact primary teachers’ have on children

The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) and the National Careers Institute (NCI) have furthered their partnership with Anthologie to create a follow up ‘Little Ripples’ campaign.

What happens when you meet with your Primary School teacher as an adult?

Anthologie brought students together with their old primary school teachers to discuss just how impactful seemingly small moments in the classroom can be.

The campaign featured a hero film, e-book series, and free downloadable teacher resources, which NCI released nationally to raise awareness about the importance of creating positive little ripples for children and help primary teachers create an engaging dialogue around careers with their students.

Megan Fritsch, President of the Career Industry Council of Australia, believes this is an important time to set the future stage for our children’s career expectations, and their lives.

Fritsch said: “Career development is happening in childhood, whether we realise it or not and our children can only imagine what they see and hear.”

Amy Sutton, Managing Director at Anthologie, said: “Teachers have a formidable job and can often feel underappreciated. So we really wanted this campaign to celebrate a teacher’s positive role and show how those small moments can have a lasting impact on a child’s life and career.”

The film is accompanied by a free illustrated e-book series with author Margaret Sams and illustrator Leah Schultz as well as a collection of activity sheets designed with educators and specialists.

These resources serve as helpful tools to facilitate age-appropriate conversations and explorations into the subject of jobs, careers and aspirations of young people.
