After 49 years, Marketforce moves to new office

For the first time in the history of the agency, the Marketforce Group and its affiliated agencies have moved offices. After a 49-year stay on Hay Street in West Perth, the business has moved to a brand-new office at 146 Colin Street.

The new office was officially opened last Wednesday at a function for clients and staff with special guest the Hon. David Templeman MLA, Minister for Culture and the Arts headlining the event.

Aboriginal elder, Uncle Vaughn McGuire performed an incredibly heartfelt Welcome to Country to open the new space on Whadjuk boodjar, as Chief Growth Officer Dixie Marshall MC’d the formalities.

Marketforce Group Co-Head of Creative Josh Edge held a Q&A with Min. Templeman, which tackled several topics around the subject of creativity and the creative industries’ role in building WA industry and culture. Min. Templeman proved to be an animated interviewee, as he regaled the room with stories of his favourite ads from the past, the growth opportunities across commercial and artistic creative industries, and the need for all local creative industries to learn from the lessons of sport in building cultural cachet from an early age.

Clemenger CEO Les Timar and Clemenger Group CFO Adrian Ciabotti visited Perth and addressed the function thanking clients for their enduring support and partnership while also reiterating the Clemenger Group commitment to WA.

The new address, at 146 Colin Street, is designed around the specific needs of the Marketforce Group. A $4 million refurbishment has enabled the building to achieve a 5.5 Star NABERS rating with a full rooftop solar array, EV charge stations and full end-of-trip facilities, including towel service, lockers, full showers, lockable bike sheds and more.

Visitors can even enjoy the on-site Someday Coffee Co, or pop over the train line at Perth’s newest boutique brewer and beer garden, Phat Brew Club, for something a little more festive.

Most importantly though are the Group’s investment in new facilities that will enhance its evolving service offering to clients including new video editing suites, a recording studio, and separate offices for Marketforce, OMD WA, Flare, Levo and GRA.

Adam Marshall, CEO of Marketforce, said: “When I took on the CEO role at Marketforce back in 2018, the goal was always to develop a leading and proactive agency position in a very competitive WA marketplace. With the development of several business units, including Australia’s leading media buying network in OMD WA, award-winning creative, digital and production service in Marketforce/Flare and WA’s only enterprise IT marketing agency in Levo – we have a local market offering that is simply unmatched in Perth”.

To match their new physical presence, the Marketforce Group and OMD WA have also updated their digital presence soft-launching new websites and social media profiles. Case studies and storytelling around the history of Marketforce Group in Western Australia will be rolled out over the next few weeks.
