Advance your strategic planning with AdSchool; course commences September 29

AdSchool’s Advanced Strategic Planning course kicks off in Perth from September 29 – a program for experienced strategists and advertising professionals who want to expand their skillset and make a stronger impact as a strategist at a senior level.

Over eight weeks, learn how to make better brand-building decisions for clients, with the course focusing on business strategy, audience segmentation, brand experience, and behavioural economics as its core topics.

“Expect a sense of community and collaboration, problem solving and debate, and the chance to learn from some of the industry’s best strategists who’ll provide practical examples of effective strategy work,” said 303 MullenLowe Strategy Director and WA course facilitator Smiljka Dimitrijevic.

Participants will break down a live brief each week via a pre-recorded video lecture led by industry experts such as M&C Saatchi Chief Strategy Officer Emily Taylor and Special Group Australia Strategy Director Nathan Rogers – and will put theory into action as part of live working tutorial sessions with both Dimitrijevic and 303MullenLowe’s Head of Planning, John Linton,

“One of the lessons strategists and marketers will take away from this course is that a clear process is critical to achieving an effective strategy. If you want new perspectives and tactics on how to approach strategy as a crucial advertising discipline, then this course is invaluable,” Dimitrijevic said.

Course content includes:
• The fundamentals of business and marketing strategy
• Defining brand experience and how to best plan for it
